MC, Host and Producer Dane Butcher, has been in the entertainment industry since age 15. He began working in Australian on Television Shows “Heartbreak High”, Police Rescue” and “Water Rats” among others and was featured in numerous commercials as well. He made the transition to Cruise Ships in the late ‘90’s and cemented himself as one of the lead Entertainment Directors which took him to the Great Barrier Reef as the Entertainment Manager at Brampton Island Resort. After returning to ships for some years he then decided to become land-based and joined forces with Jazz Cruises LLC as the Director of Cruise Operations and Programming. Along with Co-writing and Producing five Elvis Presley Shows with Music Director Joe Guercio for the first-ever Elvis Cruise in 2007, he also Produced, Directed and Emceed the #1 Jazz Music Charters in the world, including the Dave Koz & Friends At Sea Cruise, The Smooth Jazz Cruise Hosted by Wayman Tisdale and the Playboy Jazz Cruise Hosted by Marcus Miller.
