Born Feb. 25th 1966 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Chance began picking up on music at an early age.
At the age of 3, he was given a "Ukulele" (Small Hawiian guitar) in which he composed his first song. After he played his song for his older brother, who had his own band at the time, and the band began to play along with him. He was Hooked. From there he began to play the Bass guitar. (which happens to be his main instrument.) Then the drums, Keys, and Bass Synth. and Vocals.
In 1989, at age 23, he moved to Minneapolis, where he met Grammy Award winning producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
In his 30 years as a professional artist, Chance has been blessed to be able to work with the some of the most incredible artists in the business.
Alexander O'Neal, Chaka Kahn, Gladys Knight, Janet Jackson, Morris Day And The Time, Solo, Notorious B.I.G., Michael Bolton, Maceo Parker, Marcus Miller, George Duke, R. Kelly, L.L. Cool J., and........ Prince.
Just to name a few.
Chance just finished the Smooth Jazz Cruise with Candy Dulfer in January 2011. And is slated to be back in 2012 and 2013. So if you haven't been, you are missing the best time of your life.
Chance is now currently working with the incredibly talented, and totally beautiful, Candy Dulfer. Whom he met along with Maceo Parker, while on tour The Musicology 2004, with Prince.
Chance has been a part of Candy's Band (Funky Stuff) for 6 years now.
He's now working on his solo project for 2012, and is developing an "OL'SCHOOL FUNK TOUR BAND" in which the show will be called :
"Chance's BOOM BOOM ROOM"
Who knows what the future holds, because they don't call him "CHANCE" for nothing.
