She rose to fame with high profile collaborations with Dave Stewart (‘Lily was here’) and Prince. With Prince she performed at Jay Leno’s Tonight Show, played dozens of shows in the USA and all over Europe, and recorded on several of his albums.
Together with Prince and Beyoncé she performed at the Grammy Awards ceremony.
Her album ‘Funked Up & Chilled Out’ was released worldwide in 2009. To promote it she traveled around the world, together with her band, for a string of sold-out shows.
For the first time in her career she performed in Moscow. Due to popular demand she returned to Russia in the fall for more shows. Candy Dulfer is currently finalizing her new album, scheduled for release in the fall of 2011. The new album is co-produced by Ulco Bed, who produced Candy’s Grammy nominated debut album ‘Saxuality’, as well as Printz Board, musical director and coproducer for the Black Eyed Peas.
Later in the year Candy and her band will perform shows in the USA and travel to Brazil for her first-ever performances in South America in a 25+ years career.
Due to popular demand, Candy will again join Dave Koz for his annual Dave Koz & Friends Christmas Tour in November and December, performing dozens of shows across the USA, before starting 2012 with the Smooth Jazz Cruise.
