The Smooth Jazz Cruise is excited to be offering this fun competition where you have the chance to perform for your fellow guests with our resident band under the direction of Andre Berry. A list of song choices will be available on the website (see below) for you to choose from with downloadable sheet music and track files. Please see below for the following rules:
- All guests can register on Monday January 15 (Week 1) or January 22 (Week 2), at 10:00am in the Queen’s Lounge, located on Deck 2.
- Guests must choose a song from the dedicated set list provide on line
- Each song will be performed for approximately three (3) minutes
- With the exception of drums and keyboards, each Guest must furnish his own instrument
- There will be two (2) Elimination Rounds followed by one (1) Finale Round, each performed on different days
- The Judging will be based off of Audience Reaction and the Band Members Professional Opinion
- Profanity and/or vulgarity on stage will not be tolerated and any contestant violating this rule will be immediately disqualified from the contest.
- All contestants grant Entertainment Cruise Productions the irrevocable right to record their performance and to use, adapt, reproduce, distribute, broadcast, and exhibit their performance in perpetuity in any and all media, manners and platforms, without the payment of compensation.
