By now I am sure that most of you know that I am in the process of recovering from a procedure to remove cancerous cysts in my leg. To those who have reached out to me and to those who have prayed for me, on behalf of me, Regina and our entire family, I am most grateful.
I am so pleased to report that my recovery will be 100% and that I have been told that I am cancer free. To recover properly, though, I need to curtail my touring and public appearances for a period of time. But that does not mean that I will be away from my music as I am taking this time to work on a new record and some other very interesting projects.
My next public performance may very well be The Smooth Jazz Cruise! And, I assure you that your only concern about the cruise will be whether you will be able to keep up with me that week! We are going to rejoice in the wonders of recovery, the joys of life and just let it all hang out for the greatest week of music and fun you will ever have.
So, it is likely that I will not see most of you until the cruise, but I promise each and every one of you that we will get together then and it will be wonderful. Again, thank you for your concern and for your well wishes.
