WHAT IS THE GROUP LEADER PROGRAM?

Over the years, Guests have asked if there could be compensation if they were to amass a group for an upcoming sailing. In response, we created the Group Leader Program, which provides any guest with the opportunity and incentive to tout the cruise to their friends, colleagues and family and create their own special group.

WHAT IS A GROUP LEADER?

A Group Leader is an individual or entity that organizes and assembles a group of individuals who wish to register and reserve staterooms on a cruise ship as a “group” for any reason and is compensated accordingly.

WHO CAN BE A GROUP LEADER?

Anyone can become a Group Leader after they have successfully made a reservation on an upcoming sailing. During the reservation process, simply inform the Reservation Specialist you wish to become a Group Leader. If a reservation is created online, you can either call or email a Reservation Specialist to express your interest.

WHO CAN BE IN MY GROUP?

Group Members are those who are new to Entertainment Cruise Productions or those who have not sailed within the last three years. If a person has previously sailed with ECP or is currently listed by another Group Leader, that reservation will not qualify. Group Members must reference their Group Leader at the time of booking or no longer than 30 days after the deposit has been paid. If a Group Leader claims a member after this time period they will not qualify towards the earned compensation.

WHAT CAN I EARN AS A GROUP LEADER?

A Group Leader may only qualify for compensation once three (3) new reservations have successfully made their own reservations for the subject cruise. The group leader's cabin does not count towards compensation.

  • 10 Cabins $1,500

  • 13 Cabins $1,800
  • 14 Cabins $1,900
  • 15 Cabins $2,100
  • 16 Cabins $2,300
  • 17 Cabins $2,500
  • 18 Cabins $2,700
  • 19 Cabins $2,850
  • 20 Cabins $3,000 (*)
Over 20 Cabins – agreement with ECP * Group Leader receives free berth after 20 cabins are sold. A berth is defined as 50% of the total cabin cost, based on double occupancy, excluding suite level staterooms.

The Group Leader may elect to have the compensation paid either by check from ECP which will be sent approximately three to four weeks post sail date or have the amount due applied as an “onboard credit”.

CAN I CREATE A NEW GROUP EACH YEAR?

As long as an individual is actively serving as a Group Leader for ECP then said individual shall be compensated for new passengers who continue to book with said Group Leader. If a person has previously sailed with ECP or is currently listed by another Group Leader, that reservation will not qualify.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CABIN PURCHASES

Passengers in any Group must fulfill the requirements of any person purchasing a cabin for an ECP program. Such requirements are prominently displayed on the web sites of the respective cruises:

Failure to complete the requirements disqualifies the person as a passenger and their cabin will not be included in the total cabin calculation of the Group Leader.

TRAVEL AGENTS

Entertainment Cruise Productions is proud to be one of the very few theme charter cruise companies which works with Travel Agents on a meaningful commission basis.

    Travel Agents that are new to working with ECP will receive the following commission level:
  • 1-5 Cabins Sold = $75/Cabin
  • 6-10 Cabins Sold = 4% (Total cabin cost, less taxes)
  • 11+ Cabins Sold = 5% (Total cabin cost, less taxes)
    Once a Travel Agent has displayed the ability to sell our programs, their compensation level will increase the following sailing year (and any year thereafter) to the following:
  • 1-5 Cabins Sold = $150/Cabin
  • 6-10 Cabins Sold = 7% New Guests, 5% Returning Guests (Total cabin cost, less taxes)
  • 11+ Cabins Sold = 8% New Guests, 6% Returning Guests (Total cabin cost, less taxes)

Commission percentage is based on the total cabin cost, less taxes ($350 per person). In order to pay commission a signed copy of a current W9 is required from every agent. Commission is typically received 2-3 weeks post sailing date.
